New podcast series for cattle vets
The podcast will be especially useful to farm animal practitioners.
CattleCast contains CPD, news and support for practitioners on the move.

A new podcast series providing CPD, news and support for cattle vets has been launched by the British Cattle Veterinary Association (BCVA).

Coming at a time when sharing information has never been more important, the podcast, entitled CattleCast, will be especially useful to farm animal practitioners on the move between visits.

BCVA president Nikki Hopkins presents the first episode. As a practising vet on the Welsh Borders, Nikki talks about the COVID-19 resources available to farm vets and offers a useful overview of TB testing during the restrictions.

The second episode is presented by BCVA board member Colin Mason who offers an invaluable update for vets looking at dairy farmers’ responses to issues around the milk supply chain and price cuts experienced since lockdown.

Later in the series, vets will be able to download a series of talks and interviews covering current affairs, tips, guidance, and engaging CPD from members of their own profession and expert guests. The episodes are also available on the BCVA website.
