The results of both elections are as follows:

VN Council - Elected Candidates

1)Elizabeth Branscombe with 430 votes
2)Elizabeth Cox with 335 votes
3)Tanya Caley with 332 votes

Congratulations go to everyone who stood for council and we wish the successful candidates all the best.

With the total number of RCVS voters standing at 3,887 and VN voters at 723, the turnout for this year's elections were lower when compared to previous years.

RCVS Registrar Jane Hern said: "It's certainly disappointing that the turnout has dropped so much this year. It is unclear whether this is due to lack of time, lack of awareness or lack of interest."

If you didn't vote this year, why not let us know the reasons behind it. You can email us at editor@mrcvs.co.uk
