BSAVA Congress demand high
Congress prepares for another record-breaking year

The British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) has announced that it is anticipating another record-breaking year at the upcoming Congress in light of an already high number of registrations and a dramatic increase in the number of international delegates. Over 5,500 registrations have already been taken and this number is rising on a daily basis. As a standard of comparison, last year's Congress saw 5,816 delegates as a part of a total of over 8,000 visitors.

The BSAVA will also be hosting the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations (FECAVA), leading to a surge in the number of registrations from international delegates eager to attend the WSAVA / FECAVA / BSAVA World Congress 2012. According to the BSAVA, the percentage of international delegates as a proportion of this year's Congress is projected to be approximately 24%. Last year's figure was approximately 14%, suggesting that the status of World Congress has attracted an even stronger interest in attendance in the veterinary sectors of overseas countries.
