Q&A session for pig vets
BPEX workshop on changes to ZNCP

All pig vets are invited to log on to an informal online workshop led by BPEX on the changes to the Zoonoses National Control Plan (ZNCP). The workshop will take place on 23rd August 2012 from 3pm, and clients who vets believe will also be interested are welcome to join in.

The ZNCP is now centred on a the new risk assessment tool - to help all vets and pig producers develop a meaningful and effective salmonella control plan.

BPEX veterinary programme manager, Katrin Turvey, will lead a live demonstration of the risk assessment tool and a question and answer session, and vets are urged to bring along their queries.

The workshop will be available online to view and listen again, and more workshops for producers are likely to run in the future.
